Posted on October 13th, 2015 by Jupiter Tequesta

Halloween is just weeks away! If you haven’t yet decorated your property, this blog post is for you. Below, we take a look at a few standout (and simple!) do-it-yourself (DIY) Halloween lights.

Happy Halloween party with children trick or treating

1. Floating pumpkins

If you have a water feature on your property, use plastic jack-o-lanterns and LED tea lights to create a unique look. Simply drop the tea lights into a few different colored plastic pumpkins, and let them float. Trick-or-treaters will love it!

2. Glowing pods

All you need are balloons, coffee filters and glow sticks to can create eerie, glow-in-the-dark pods to hang from your trees this Halloween. And, according to DIY Network, it won’t even take you half a day to get this project done.

3. A colorful graveyard

Build these easy-to-make gravestones out of foamboard, and illuminate them up with red, blue, purple, green and white outdoor lights. For an extra-spooky effect, rent a fog machine. It will help enhance the creepy colors!
